Our mission is to provide eco-minded toys and games that are fun for our children. We have a wide range of green products made to satisfy curious hands but tread lightly on our land.
- Kvale Good Natured Games -- This company is the publisher and distributor of Head1Liners board games, the only U.S. environmentally-friendly party game made for appeal to green and mainstream people alike. All of their game pads and cards are constructed with 100% recycled paper, printed with processes and materials (i.e. soy inks) that improve upon environmental, health, and safety standards; the player tokens are recycled glass (100% post-industrial) or recycled wood composites, and they use biodegradable, non-toxic pencils.
- Anamalz -- Their toys are made from FSC maplewood, water-based paints, fabrics made from recycled materials, and formaldehyde free glue. Company contributes a percentage of sales to wildlife organizations. Products include poseable wooden animals.
- Barefoot Books -- Books are printed using soy-based inks on renewable forest paper. Their offices use environmentally friendly supplies. The company donates proceeds to charities and is constantly trying to find new ways to incorporate green practices into publishing.
- Beka -- This local (St. Paul, MN) manufacturer produces minimal waste and uses wood from managed forests and non-toxic paints. Products include block sets, art easels, and puppet theaters.
- Green Toys -- Uses recycled milk jugs to create tea sets, indoor gardening kit, sand play set, and a cookware/dining set. Uses environmental packaging, and toys have no traceable phthalates or BPA and no external coating (no lead paint.)
- Holgate Toys -- Their wide variety of toys are made in the U.S. and exceed US requirements for safety. Paints are non-toxic.
- Maple Landmark -- Vermont crafter of wooden games, gifts and toys, including the NameTrains wooden rail network. Wood comes from sustainable local forests, and all paint is lead-free. They employ practices to minimize material waste and reduce packaging.
- Plan Toys -- Materials include organic rubberwood, E-zero glue, water-based dye, recycled and recyclabe materials, soy ink and waterbased ink. Their plant uses solar energy and low emissions biofuel. Their products include a variety of fun, interesting toys.
- RoyToy--Products are 100% made in the U.S. using wood harvested with sustainable forest management practices and sold with minimal packaging.
- Shainsware-- 100% recycled customizable bracelets and over 50 letters and symbols to create personal messages. This CA company donates 10% of pofits to environmental organizations.
- Sprig -- Incorporates recycled plastics (milk jugs, water bottles) and waste sawdust to create battery-free, kid powered toys.
